Karine Laval, French artist photographer, based in New York, has been developing for several years a work celebrating the diversity and the luxuriance of the flora. His particularly graphic and colorful compositions which immediately capture the attention of the public have allowed him to leave the traditional framework of the museum or the gallery and to exhibit in places of passage:New York metro, San Francisco airport with the SF MOMA, lobby of 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest tower in London, or the new “Cheval Blanc” hotel at La Samaritaine. On the occasion of her exhibition in the gardens of the Château de Malmaison and the park of Bois-Préau, Karine Laval will design an artistic route with free access, intended for visitors and walkers, combining in-situ creations and a selection of works from one of his flagship series “Heterotopia”.This artistic route highlighting the variety of flora and viewpoints in the garden and the park will strengthen the link between the castles of Malmaison and that of Bois-Préau, just before the reopening of the latter to the public.
